Rear Underrun Protection

To meet the safety requirements in the UNECE R58 regulations, trucks must be fitted with rear underrun protection.

The underrun protection can either be delivered factory-fitted or be fitted by the bodybuilder.

Lateral Protection

Requirements for the lateral protection’s attachment and strength is controlled by the UNECE R73 regulation. The following lateral protections can be ordered factory-fitted:

  • Side skirt
  • Lateral protection beam

Tyre Chain Equipment

Tyre chain equipment provides improved grip on slippery surfaces. Certain vehicles can have tyre chain equipment fitted at the factory. The following options are available:

  • Automatic tyre chains with six or 12 snow chains
  • 3 snow chains
  • Snow chain holder
