CO2 DECLARATION AND CONFIRMATION OF CONFORMITY
Determination of a heavy vehicle’s CO2 emissions and fuel consumption
To ensure transparency on Fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and/or Electric range, the primary vehicle (chassis) shall be accompanied by a Vehicle Information File (VIF), that follows the model of Annex III, Part III of the CO2 regulation.
This VIF contains the primary input of the chassis for your complete(d) vehicle VECTO declaration.

VIF: Vehicle information file, MRF: Manufactures records file, CIF: Customers information file
For a complete vehicle or completed vehicle the simulation tool produces a manufacturer’s records file, a customer information file as well as a VIFi file . The VIFi file shall be made available to the subsequent manufacturer in the event the vehicle undergoes a further step to be completed.
